Trivia SA by the numbers – 2014

ANNUAL REPORT

Trivia South Africa (Trivia SA) had an extremely successful year. Here’s a quick look at our achievements:

Loftus Versfeld stadium in Pretoria holds 51,762 people. Our Trivia SA website was viewed more than 400,000 times in 2014. It would therefore take about 8 sold-out Springbok rugby matches for that many people to see it.

The busiest days of the year were 13 and 14 December 2014, right after our Zuma/Eskom meme was published in the Beeld newspaper. We had a total of 36,000 views during these two days.

Our most popular article was “If these famous people were Afrikaans…“, followed closely by “Lesotho: Why King Shaka said the F-word, and left.”

In 2014, we published a total of 239 articles.

Our longest streak of publishing posts on a daily basis was for a period of 18 days, from 6 – 23 September 2014.

Our best posting day was a Wednesday, and we published a total of 44 posts on Wednesdays throughout the year.
